FAQ's:

Q: How does this process work?

A: All you need to do is you need to be able to record your lines and are able upload them online. You can use any media, simple voice recording, webcam, normal camera, whatever. You can use any website to upload them such as Youtube, Mediafire, whatever you are able to use. Just make it so that I can access it. And please put your name on the file when naming so it's easier for me to keep track!!

Q: How do I make the recording directly into an mp3?

A: Sorry, I don't know how to directly make it into an mp3 but if you have a Youtube account and Windows Movie Maker (You can download this from the Window's website last time I checked) you have to 'Save Project As' after you are done editing it then when are saving it, add '.wmv' at the end of the file name so it can be uploaded to Youtube. Remember where you saved it and what you name it! If you are doing it as a voice memo or whatnot and are uploading it to WMM, you should add a picture first before adding your recording then go to... I believe the 'Project' tab and there should be something that says 'fit to music' and the video will be extended to how long your recording is then upload it. I hope this makes sense!

Q: When do we have to submit these by?

A: I haven't decided on a set date yet but I am putting between the end of June or the start of July because I know that many of you are going through exams between now and then. It doesn't take very long for me to view for the auditions so I will make note of the ones I like and I will contact you if I decide to use your voice and put up a couple of thank you deviations for those who auditioned and announce the voice actors then.

Q: Can I audition for multiple roles?

A: Yes, you can go for as many as you would like but please follow my instructions for the characters that have the accents.

Q: If I do multiple auditions, how should I submit them?

A: That is up to you. You can all put it in one video but clarify what role you are doing or you can put it in separate recordings.

Q: My friend wants to audition too but they don't have a DA account. Can I submit theirs with mine?

A: They can but I will need their name or nickname so I can credit them.

Like the title says, I'm still looking for voice actors for a trailer I'm making for Not Everything is Silver and Gold (Pirate Prussia x Reader) and so far so good, I've got lots of people applying. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and already submitted your auditions!!!

And I would really like for guys to try out as well. I would really like to have at least a male voice actor for Gilbert and Arthur if possible. So if you know a guy or if there are any guys interested in voice acting, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try out for Gilbert.

Also, I was considering if this goes really well and once my voice actors have been chosen, I was considering doing a drama CD type thing for the fic (minus two chapters... It will be PG 13/14 if this goes through) and wondering if you guys were interested in doing so. This probably would be done later in the summer or in Autumn in the latest and continue throughout the year. I will get through the trailer first then I will work from there. It's not official, just a thought and I was wondering if you guys would be interested in doing that sort of thing as well. But again, I will get through the trailer first and work from there.

So, for those who don't know, I am making a trailer for my fanfiction, Not Everything is Silver and Gold and I am seeking voice actors. The roles are as follows:

Reader/Lena (Pronounced L'ay'na sorry for not doing this sooner

) (Protagonist) -> Her voice is generally monotonic and cold unless talking to Victoria and Feliciano but I have noted where it changes from her monotonic tone in the script.

Gilbert/Prussia -> You all seen the anime right? I would prefer to have a male voice actor but girls can try too.

These two will have the majority of the lines.

Victoria -> Soft and sweet. Think like Kisa Sohma (Fruits Basket) or Kagamine Rin

Feliciano + Lovino -> Can be either male or female.

Arthur -> Preferably male but girls can try too. Try to sound smooth and seductive as possible

Antonio only has one line in the script along with one random pirate and since there is little to no interest in playing Antonio, I will do his line as well as the random pirate. Unless if there is someone who is interested in doing his line and it is decent, I will give that role to someone else. But for the time being, I will play Antonio and the random pirate. Antonio's line is negotiable, the random pirate is not.

If you are going for the minor characters, except Victoria, or Gilbert please record them twice. Once with your normal voice/accent and another time with the characters respective accents. The reason for this is if your voice is really good but you can't do accents very well, I will take the better recording. But let's say you have a noticeable accent like if you were from the UK and are trying for Arthur and you have a noticeable accent, you don't have to try it twice if you don't want to. And please leave a decent amount of lines in between so it will be easier for me to edit!!

Feliciano and Lovino -> Italian accents

Arthur -> English Accent

Gilbert -> German accent

If you want to do Antonio, you don't have to do an accent if you don't want to.
